P999 FCC

Scania P124:360 is the vehicle of choice for any type of major incident. P999 FCC is our designated 'Accident Unit' used primarily for accident recovery. This vehicle can be seen attending incidents on behalf of Cumbria Police and the Highways Agency. P999 FCC is equipped with a hi-ab and damage- free lifting frame and heavy duty winching equipment and has always risen to every challenge.

T100 FCC

Iveco Cargo 100E180 is the 'old girl' of the fleet. T100 FCC is designed to carry two vehicles and up to six passengers, primarily working up and down the roads and motorways, collecting and delivering vehicles all across the Northwest. T100 FCC is also used for the recovery of accident damaged vehicles and carries on board various equipment to assist in the recovery of all types of vehicles.

Scania T114:530 is our 'top pulling' vehicle. T10 FCC is one of the largest vehicles in our fleet and was designed and constructed to our specification, with immense pulling power combined with heavy duty winching equipment and a array of recovery equipment on board. This vehicle will be seen recovering the largest of vehicles both on and off the road. Regardless of the situation, T10 FCC is the tool of choice when dealing with any heavy recovery.

Scania R114:460 is another 'pulling vehicle' with plenty of grunt. V10 FCC is similar to T10 FCC in its capability and performance. However, V10 FCC is constructed slightly differently with a top boom designed to give lifting capacity and advantage when dealing with heavy recovery of vehicles in off- road situations. In cases of major incidents V10 FCC and T10 FCC join together to form the ultimate 'pulling machines'.

EL1 504

Scania R470 / Landoll RD48 low loader is by far the longest vehicle in our fleet and one of the longest vehicles permitted on the public road. EL1 504 is a real piece of specialist kit, but in practice is two pieces of individual equipment. Firstly, the Scania 470 tractor unit - adapted by us to our requirements and specification - can be used individually as a tractor unit or a towing vehicle using its onboard straight bar or combined with our Landoll RD48 low loader, which was built in the USA and imported to the UK.

Our Landoll is designed with sliding axles which are ram operated, the trailer axles are powered forward - allowing the trailer to drop to ground level and providing a loading angle of under 6 degrees. Its primary use is the recovery of buses and coaches, providing a full lift capability, but can also be used to recover all types of commercial vehicles.

Due to its immense length and carrying capacity EL1 504 can be loaded with a fully loaded four axle commercial vehicle and even a complete articulated vehicle.
